The Nebraska Forest Service offers many resources that are of interest to landowners in Nebraska.

  • Financial Assistance Programs - Cost-share funds available through the Nebraska Forest Service
  • The Rural Forestry program has many resources regarding forest and woodlot management, windbreak establishment and management, reforestation, and other forestry related issues. These services are provided through District Foresters located across the state.
  • The Forest Health program maintains a listing of the most prominent pest problems in Nebraska along with the trees that are affected, control recommendations, and timing.

  • NFS maintains Tree Care resources with information on choosing the right tree for your landscape, as well as how to care for your trees.
