The Nebraska Forest Service has officially completed the 2025 Annual Report — a comprehensive look at the agency’s work and impact across Nebraska over the past year.
The annual report highlights major accomplishments in wildfire response and mitigation, forest health, community forestry, conservation, emergency response assistance, education and outreach, and partnerships with local, state and federal agencies. It serves as a record of the Nebraska Forest Service’s ongoing efforts to protect lives, property, natural resources and communities across the state.
The report also showcases the work of Nebraska Forest Service staff and partners who continue supporting wildfire preparedness, forest resilience, tree planting efforts, hazardous fuels reduction projects and natural resource stewardship throughout Nebraska.
Thank you to all of the employees, volunteers, fire departments, landowners and partner organizations who contributed to this year’s successes and continue supporting the mission of the Nebraska Forest Service.
