You will learn how to look at and compare these parts and how to use a dichotomous key to identify species. Many of the species included in this manual are native to Nebraska, meaning they occur here naturally. Some are not native but are commonly planted. A few are naturalized; they are not native but have escaped cultivation and are growing in the wild.
